I do believe that there are many injustices in the way that substances are viewed and made legal or adversely illegal. I also believe there are very unequal examples of policing in regard to which sector of society are using which substances. Although not being in a position to alter the legal position regarding substance usage, I do believe the social benefits of some of the unacceptable should bring about a more tolerant approach. I am personally in favour of personal freedom and choice as long as it doesn’t restrict or damage others. Greater freedom brings about greater responsibilities.
